After years of picking, the tea tree has a layer of fine branches on the crown surface, often forming “chicken claw branches” with weakened germination ability. At this time, you can use a tea trimmer to cut off 3 to 5 cm of fine branches and leaves on the crown surface. In this way, when the next round of new shoots sprouts, they will be able to grow fat buds and leaves.
